About Us
Our mission as Raptors is to empower young rugby players to grow skills, build character, and strengthen ties to the community.
South OC Raptors rugby club fields teams in coed age groups U8 (non contact), U10, U12, U14, boys U16, U18 and girls U16, U18. We are a member of Southern California Youth Rugby (SCYR) and USA Rugby. These governing bodies set policies and procedures for participation in all competition activities.
Why Rugby?
Rugby is unique in the world of sports in that sportsmanship and traditions have created a culture unlike any other. Winning is important, but more-so the character and growth of the athletes, the friendships and bonds created, the respect and discipline learned, and the dedication to give back to the community. Raptors pride themselves in growing this culture and growing the sport of rugby in Southern California. Come give it a try!
